Where can I download the App?

On what devices can I read The Henry Ford Magazine?
The Henry Ford Magazine is currently available on the iPad, and Android tablets. You can also read the publication from a PC or MAC at www.thehenryford.org/magazine.
Will the app run on my smartphone?
No. The digital edition is designed for tablet devices only.
Why is the issue taking so long to download?
Digital magazines are very large files, ranging from 250mb to 400mb and can take a while to download. Be patient and make sure you have a strong Wi-Fi connection. The issues will not download over a 3G connection. If there are other devices currently on your Wi-Fi connection, consider disabling them temporarily until the magazine is downloaded. If possible, move your iPad closer to the router. This will ensure that the strongest possible connection is enabled. Check to see if there are any other downloads in progress on your iPad. If there are, wait until they have completed before downloading the app.
My app keeps crashing or freezing. What can I do?
Delete the app and re-download it from the App Store. This often fixes small glitches. It's free, so you will not be charged. If you need assistance, please email us at info@octanedesign.com.
What do I do if I am experiencing a problem that isn't mentioned here?

When you email us, please give us as much detail as possible and answer the following questions:
• Are you using an iPad 1, 2, 3 or an Android?
• What version of the app are you using?
• What version of iOS are you using? (You can find out by going to Settings on your iPad and selecting the General option.)
• Did you have any apps running in the background when you first encountered the problem? If so, which ones? (To find out,
tap the circular "Home" button twice quickly to reveal your running apps in the tray at the bottom of the screen.)
• Were you trying to download over 3G or via Wi-Fi? (Magazine issues will not download over 3G.)
