Creating Buzz Around Print Stories
Taking content to another level — augmented content adds interaction for the printed story.
In 2019 one of our goals for Visit Detroit magazine was to innovate new ways for readers to interact and connect to more digital content. That’s why we introduced augmented reality videos and contests for readers. In the Summer/Spring issue we caught up with Timothy Paule and Nicole Lindsey, founders of Detroit Hives and produced a video short that lived online and could be scanned and viewed from the magazine.
The idea is to increase online engagement and bridge the gap between print and web content. It worked and it can work for you. Luckily, no one got stung.
