While the initiative has a defined one-year engagement period, its goals extend well beyond that time frame. The Hub is helping lay the groundwork for a formal economic development organization that can support Pontiac’s long-term growth and investment strategy.

We produced a brand that is designed to be flexible, approachable and built for community engagement, including a visual system centered around a library of modern geometric shapes and a vibrant color palette that could easily adapt to different initiatives, focus groups, events and communications. Rather than relying on a rigid identity, the system was intentionally designed to evolve, providing a cohesive framework that could support a wide range of audiences while maintaining a recognizable and energetic brand presence.

Delivering online transparency and longevity for a shared vision

More importantly, the website was built with the long-term in mind. Once the initiative concludes, the platform can transition to the City of Pontiac’s control and continue serving as a central resource while a formal Economic Development Corporation is established. The goal is not only to support a one-year initiative, but to create a lasting digital foundation for Pontiac’s economic future.
